Game PlayGame Play

10U introduces several new elements to familiarize the girls with more advanced game play.  Players begin to see more aspects of the game, and situational awareness and game strategy is introduced. 

#Players: 8 minimum 

Pitching Distance: 35 feet 

Game Time: 1hr 20min, or 6 innings ( no drop dead) 

Run limit per inning: 5

Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 4.5 innings

Players on field: 9 (three in the outfield) 

Stealing: unlimited, home is not frozen 

Drop third strike is also in play. If the catcher drops the ball on a third strike, the batter can run to 1st base. 

 **If walkup music is used, it should end when batter steps inside the batters box, or at the discretion of the Umpire.

Jerseys are included in your registration fee. Each player will need to acquire a pair of black softball/baseball pants to wear during each game
