Game Play

In our 8U division goals are for the girls to develop a love for softball while practicing the basics. 


#Players: 8 minimum


Pitching Distance: 30 feet


Game Time: 1hr 20min, or 5 innings (drop dead 1:30)


Run limit per inning: 4


Players on field: up to 10


Stealing: One base per pitch and overthrough, home is frozen


During our Spring season, a pitching device (Blue Flame) will be used the first month of games to allow players to become familiar with game play. Usage time may be subject to coaches/boards discretion. 


The remainder of the season will be kid pitch. A pitcher can pitch a maximum of two (2) innings per game, three (3) for playoffs, and four (4) for championship game.


**If walkup music is used, it should end when batter steps inside the batters box, or at the discretion of the Umpire.

Uniforms

Jerseys are included in your registration fee. Each player will need to acquire a pair of black softball/baseball pants to wear during each game
